Will soft washing damage my roof shingles?
No — that's precisely why it exists. Pressure washing a shingle roof strips the protective granules and shortens its life. Soft washing removes moss, algae and lichen chemically at low pressure, leaving the shingle intact.
How long do the results last?
Longer than pressure washing, because the treatment kills the spores and biofilm rather than just rinsing off the visible layer. How long depends on shade, moisture and tree cover — north-facing walls under trees regrow fastest.
